What we care for
Child Support
Our medical program’s primary objective is to give free healthcare to children and older persons(55 years and above) who are under care and support of Kiwummulo Foundation.
We focus on bringing health care services into a community that really needs one and to supplement the government health systems and improve Health Services delivery in the rural communities.
Children Vulnerable
We aim to improve the quality of life for youth, orphans and vulnerable children who live under horrible and hard life conditions through holistic, household-focused initiatives. These children and youth are affected by extreme poverty, HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, defilement and early pregnancies leaving them vulnerable.
Most of these orphans have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS. The results have been devastating for youth, their families and communities. Foundation for Children and Women in Development Initiative provides the vulnerable children and youth with shelter, healthcare, food, clothing etc.
Rural Livelihood Development
In addition to providing healthcare services, agriculture and support to the vulnerable.
We help rural farmers in improving their livelihood in terms of income and food security. Using the livelihood impact analysis technique,we assess the role of Kiwummulo Foundation in improving rural livelihood by
(i) understanding the production environment
(ii) exploring the marketing opportunities and challenges
(iii) highlighting the changes in livelihood outcomes.
Health Care and Medical Relief
